I have been in love with a green and clean environment. I’m a type of person who wants everything in place. I hope I can do this worldwide.
Last week before typhoon Basyang landed in the Philippines, a very good friend of mine who is an outstanding social entrepreneur set an appointment with me and asked for my help.
When he said it’s about an advocacy on Climate Change, I immediately said, “Sure, I will help!”
Illac Diaz is the founder of My Shelter Foundation. He has done a lot of good social works in the past that earned him high respect not only for local donors but also international contributors. Illac has put the Philippines in the global map of social entrepreneurship using his western education and experience to help the Filipino people.
His ideas are just too helpful for a country such as hours. It didn’t have to require billions of money. Most of his ideas only required actual works and creativity in sourcing environment friendly materials. In other words, his work is a force to help fight the effects of climate change.
Part of my promise to him was to do a video recording of him, put it up in the web, create a blog entry for his advocacy, and send out a newsletter asking my subscribers to vote online. The votes, if enough to secure the first place, will help him raise some more funds to add additional classroom in his project.
I’d like you to watch the video now to see what this is about:
Here’s how you’re going to make us win.

Now this is the most important part: Choose letter E. Fight the Effects of Climate Change
Your online vote will help us add one more classroom for our less fortunate kids. And sure it can go a long way. Having a classroom built can happen with just a few clicks so please do vote for our advocacy in fighting the effects of climate change.
Wow…this is a very good cause…I am IN…proud to be Pinoy!
