[No matter how we get try to get away onwhat we love doing, it will always get attracted to us. What we have accustomed to will always be part of what we are we are. And what we are determines what kind of life we have. If my logic is correct, then what has just happened today falls under the Law of Magnetism.]
I started my week right, by smiling and hoping that the first day of the week would be fruitful. I first scheduled a visit to my printer way back in my college publication days, MJC Press. I brought my book and asked for a quotation. I also updated Mr. Mojica my whereabouts. I think he was happy hearing the good newsfrom me. I must say that dealing with this man made me somehow knowledgeable on printing matters.
After that, I dropped in PUP Engineering. First I went to Spectrum and took a couple of minutes asking the staff how they are doing. They told me they are organizing another press conference. It’s a wow! My batch have initiated the project, and until now it still runs. They are doing it annually,as planned.
It’s lunchtime. I decided to go to the library to see Ms. Nette Figura. It was my priority appointment in engineering. She told me that Dr. Rosales is the library director already. I asked her to help me launched my book in PUP. She said she will tell the director, her sister by the way, about it.
At around 1:45, I prepared to go to my next meeting. Ian and I were set to see Albert Salazar, the general manager of The Parenting Company of Anthony Pangilinan.
We discussed our partnership with them and Sir Francis. The bottomline, upon finalizing all the papers, we are set to start with the project. We have arranged another meeting, on Thursday, to discuss the project costing and other matters.
Ian and I thought about the project with The Harry Pound Company. Harry Pound was the first to approach us to help his company. We agreed to be hired as talent. Along the way, it seemed that the are already decided to train us and be part of the company afterwards. We needed to rethink and somehow make a decision.
Organizing youth events, inspiring them, empowering the students, dealing with the academic institutions, working with studentand youth leaders, all in again. While we wanted to getaway with it and explore possibilities in the corporate world, it seems we cannot just leave the sector that easy.
We will see.
