This year is exciting. Obviously, I’m one of those people who’d love to change the game. You see, there are only two types of people in the workplace: One, those who play the game. Two, those who create the game. Which one are you?

It’s fun when you’re able to change the game in your industry. Believe me. And it’s rewarding, too. It’s pretty much unlike when you’re only playing the game. Most of the time, you are left with a very little and the game changer runs away with almost everything. So, it’s only an intelligent move to initiate a change and challenge the status quo.
In the last quarter of 2010, thousands of companies, mostly your competitors, spent millions of pesos to sit together, assess, and plan. I’m sure it’s no longer a surprise when your company name as well as your strategy was part of that assessment.
The story of the planning session can be summed up into one idea: They studied what you did.
Therefore, things that you made to work last year may no longer work in 2011. That’s what this email is about. They already knew what you’ve done so well, so fantastically that you outwit your competitors!
