As an Internet marketing teacher, it’s always a feeling of fulfillment that’s more important than financial gain. In short, there’s no substitute for a fulfilled endeavor.
This is exactly what I felt after we finished our Internet marketing seminar workshop for January 2010. We started this coaching program in September 2008. We’re no going to our second year. I’d like to thank Fasttrak Solutions, a SAP partner, for sending its employees to learn from me.
After our two-day hands-on, intensive, comprehensive Internet marketing sessions, there we go—very happy of what we’re able to accomplish including the last session’s Internet marketing strategy planning and website analysis. Of course there was a sort of “graduation” and a photo session with the Master Internet Marketers.
My next stop is in Glorietta 3. Early this morning, I texted Mr. George Salud, owner of Merger Suits, and I told him I’ll drop by in one of his stores. I’ll flying to Iloilo City for a major speaking engagement tomorrow and I’ll need some grooming styled by Merger.
In the store, staffs were expecting me. And we started to select some stuffs—from coat to tie to long-sleeves to pants to shoes to belt. I hope I can explain the feeling of being inside Merger suit store just like I’d always feel in any other store. Unfortunately, I never had the same feeling. It’s as if I was in a different world.
Let me tell you exactly what I mean. If you happened to own a Macintosh computer (Apple), you feel something different. You become a member of a “cult” and you feel you’re part of something extra-ordinary. When you own a Blackberry, it’s almost the same thing. There’s a weird feeling of belonging to a “religion.” You simply feel something that not too many people feel when they buy their new HP laptop of Nokia phone.
What do I mean?
Merger is primarily a suit store. And it’s a store meant for Asians. Filipinos no longer have to go through the hard way of fitting their coats or pants. However, this is not just about the size. The style is far ahead than the rest, too. Store staff assists you and help you find something that fits your personality.
I also noticed that most people who were there were regular customers. I told myself that indeed, they have a sort of “following” already. The attachment of these people with the brand and their belief about it is so that they keep coming back.
So, if you want to get a suit that suits you, there’s nothing else I can recommend than Merger located at Glorietta 3 (also in Megamall and Trinoma. I’ll blog again soon.
In the meantime, thanks Mr. George Salud for believing in LLOYDLUNA. Your support is really appreciated. We’re thankful for your trust and confidence. Rest assured that we will carry your brand name not because of what you give us but because of what we experience (and what we become) when we wear suits and accessories styled by Merger.
