The Story of Richard Sanz, Bibingkinitan, Dups delos Reyes


On Friday, I had a great time interviewing Richard Sanz, owner of the popular Bibingkinitan brand (The Tea Square and Bar-B-King) and Dr. Dups delos Reyes, an author and an executive coach on Creative Business with Lloyd Luna.

There are a lot of things that we can learn from these two gentlemen. What fascinated me though was their motivational stories and fact the they started their entrepreneurial journey in different timelines.

Richard, who is a multi-awarded entrepreneur started at the age of 23 and Dups started at 50.

After the TV show, which I’d like to believe is the most dynamic and natural talk show on Philippine television today, we dined in for a pizza and pasta.

While eating, we had some great sharing of thoughts and ideas. It’s a sort of interview extension.

    okay yun food pero ang mga CREW mga bastos sila, of course customer will pick what she’ll like di ba especially kung tinatrangkaso ka you don’t like your drinks na masyadong malamig right at nakiusap ka na paki alis lang yun ice sa softdrinks, tama ba na isnaban at magMAKE FACE ka at dabugan ka??? that’s buulshit! and then, yun supervisor di man lang sinabihan kundi nagpasimuno pa siya na lahat ng CREW eh pagdabugan din kami while eating huh! kahit sino mawawalan ng appetite kumain tapos before kang lumain yun isang WAITER o CREW nila pupunta sa labas tapos titingnan ka ng nakaiinsulto and very boastful! Anybody will get pissed by what you have done to your customer!!! Sa tingin nyo tama ba yun ugaling pinakita nila? Pasalamat pa nga sila binayaran ko pa yun kinain namin ng mga kapatid ko.. it’s my third time to eat sa Bar-B-King sa may MEGAMALL with my friends and family and this is my first time na sobrang may mambastos samin… The name of the CREW who served us is MARRELL VISITACION, beware na lang kayo.. Also, mukha ngang dinumuhan pa nila yun food namin dahil nagtatawanan lahat sila everytime na sumusubo kami kaya di talaga namin inubos yun food.. NAPAKA-unethical ng ugali nila at mga bastos tlaga…

    THE WORST FASTFOOD SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED HERE IN PHILIPPINES!!

    HAVE SOME RESPECT WITH YOUR CUSTOMER!

    To MANAGEMENT: Please review and check again your CREW’s behaviour, you’d better train them please. Thank you.
