I was invited to give a talk on “The Mind of A Champion” for Globe telecom employees. This was the time when some of their staff needed some pieces of motivation and advice.
I’m thankful to Erwin Acosta for giving me an opportunity to talk to Globe employees. The first time that we were called to present, we were turned down. But my faith was so strong that there’s no way I cannot speak at Globe. The next thing I knew, April was calling me and asking me if I’d be available.
One day before my talk here, I was in Naga City. Flying back, it was one unforgettable flight experience that I got. While we were on our way back to Manila, no plane was allowed to take off. That’s how bad the weather was. And just imagine how we struggled up there.
My session was divided into two: morning and afternoon. So we had a repeat in the afternoon. I talked about how champions think and what they do. Obviously, they’re doing something that most of us don’t that’s why they become champions.
