We are proud to announce our yet another title for you! When we say “for you,” we absolutely mean it. And because we mean it, we put our hearts and souls in it. Because the deal is, we want you to have a better year. So, here’s some behind-the-scene thoughts about the book.
Every year, we get to receive a good number of invitation to talk about motivation and goal-setting. It seems like every company has a common thinking that starting strong is everything. Well, we partly agree. But how strong can we really be if we have nothing but motivation.
The problem with motivation is it has its expiry. The expiration though depends on the person. There are people who only have it in a week or two and some are highly motivated in a month. But the reality is, it doesn’t last so long.
It’s easy for us to go to one seminar and just speak about motivation, tell inspiring stories, and share some empowering experiences. But what makes a person work in their full capacity has something to do with motivation and it has almost everything to do with Goal-Setting—if we want to get somewhere, we need to set something.
Now, we’re talking. So, allow me to just share with you the introduction of Alphabet of Achievement: The A-Z of setting and getting your goals.

The A-Z of setting and getting your goals
How well do you know your ABC?
It was a long time since we last see our basic alphabet. Why not revisit each letter in a rather modern fashion and see where it will take you next?
When we were first taught to read our ABC, we didn’t have any idea bout its value and importance. Nonetheless, we treasured those learning moments. We were so excited to go home and show our parents how well do with our ABC. It seems like we were showing off our accomplishments.
It didn’t matter when we get to achieve small things. What mattered at the time was we got something. Perhaps, the idea of greed isn’t there yet. We just perform to the best of our ability and that’s it. There’s really no big deal.
Every letter makes up a word and we know words are powerful. It’s so powerful that it can work in two ways: it can bring life and end life. While we didn’t know about it yet, we were taught to read.
Reading is probably one of the world’s greatest invention although not too many people are keen about it. You see, if there’s one thing that our school taught us that has absolutely something to do with success in all areas of our lives, it would be the ability to read.
Still, we learned how to read. But again, we didn’t pay attention. It occurred to us that everybody else can read so there’s really nothing special in it. There’s no big deal. For many people, they still don’t know the value of reading written words. They haven’t figured out yet that everyday, written words have so much influence in their lives.
Here’s the thing. Everyday, we spend a lot of time reading. It doesn’t have to be books. But sure enough we read a lot. In many ways, we are influenced by what we read whether we pay attention to it or not.
And so coming up with my own unique way of influencing people to set their goals isn’t an easy task. It took me some extraordinary effort to make goal setting an enjoyable activity to do.
The reality is many people find it boring to set goals. I think I have a problem with that. If you want to get somewhere, you have to set something. Without setting something, you’ll go anywhere.
If you don’t make a plan for your self, somebody else can make such plan for you. The only difference is such plan may not be as beneficial for you as you’d like it to be. Goals are important part of life because they set our path and direction. Without a clear goal, you’ll have an unclear life. That means that in the end, you’ll have nothing but real regrets.
The Alphabet of Achievement is the simplest tool you can own to learn more life’s basic rule on getting what you want. It’s not difficult to understand because it can be understood by a primary school student. It was written for people who’d like to start a better life using the most basic tools that they already have in their possession.
We don’t want to complicate things because they are already too complicated. It doesn’t make any sense when you try to mix things that are already mixed up. The most logical way to do is to clear our minds and start working diligently in areas of our lives that need real attention.
There are a total of 26 chapters that corresponds for 26 letters in our English alphabet. Each letter tells us something that we can do. Each letter is a guide when we finally decide to sit down and work on the grand plan of our life.
After each chapter, I’ve put a space where you can write your thoughts and simply let the ideas out. I’ve posted questions that are related to each chapter. Please make sure to find time to answer these questions. It’s in a form of enumeration, so there’s virtually no wrong answer. Remember, you’re in grade school and your job is not to grandstand but to enjoy the learning experience.
This book intends to bring you back to your old chair during your grade school, where you’ve learned many things that made you the person you are right now. If our basic education system has programmed us to act and think in a certain way, I strongly believe that we can re-program our thought process that will bring us closer to our goals.
Why in an alphabet format?
I believe that the best time to learn happens in grade school, when we don’t have any idea of failure but we have tons of idea of joy, fun, and excitement to learn new things.

Inside Your Goal Setting Book
You need to ABANDON YOUR EXTRA BAGGAGE and make sure you BECOME A BETTER PERSON. If there’s none, CREATE YOUR OWN OPPORTUNITY. It’s important to DEMAND MORE FROM YOUR SELF. You’ve not given your very best yet. ENGAGE in new conversations. It can help you start something new.
When you FOLLOW YOUR HEART, we know you can never go wrong. But you also need to HELP other people get what they want. Secondhand information isn’t enough. You must INVESTIGATE.
JOTTING DOWN your goals might be a little bit boring but it’s necessary. If you find a door, you need to KNOCK and when the right person shows up, then you can LEVERAGE.
There’s no such thing as time management. So, you need to MANAGE YOUR ACTIVITIES instead. However you’d like to control your activities, NAVIGATING your way suggests how fast or slow you can arrive in your destination. You don’t want other people to do it for you. If want to move real fast, you need to ORGANIZE the things in your life. Take it as a part of your PREPARATION.
Many people don’t ask why they do a certain think. Ask this QUESTION if you want to be different. Do some life REVIEW, too. It will help. And don’t forget to SHOW UP because success happens to you only when you are there.
Every once in a while, you need to TAKE A REST. That’s also the best opportunity to reflect about your life, breathe fresh air, and UNLEARN.
It’s not enough to just think. Therefore, VERBALIZE YOUR THOUGHTS. Don’t be tempted to get big wins. WIN SMALL because small wins make big wins. Sometime in your future, some plans may be broken. You need to run an X-RAY ON YOUR PLAN.
Times will only be tougher as we get older. You need to YEARN TO BE STRONGER than wish for easier problems. You may aspire to achieve so many things in life. It’s OK so as long as you ZOOM IN ON YOUR PRIORITY. Remember that when you lose your focus, you lose everything.
